I feel bad for delaying my travel posts, but I promise to finish the rest of them soon! If you haven’t been a long-time follower of the blog, then you know I did a mini Tour de France this summer. I traveled to Turkey where I stayed in Istanbul & Fethiye for two weeks. After spending time with my family there, I went to France where I visited Paris, Lac D’Annecy, Chamonix/Mont Blanc, Lyon, St. Tropez, Cannes & Monte Carlo. I did posts already for St.Tropez & Cannes. You can view them by clicking on the links; St.Tropez and Cannes.
Monte Carlo was possibly my favorite place. We didn’t technically stay IN Monte Carlo, but just a little outside in a town called Roquebrune-Cap-Martin which was absolutely amazing. Our hotel sat atop a massive cliff overlooking all of Monaco and had panoramic views of the sea & on the clearest days, we could see Italy, as it was not very far (the border was less than 15 min away).
When we got there, we were taken aback at the insane beauty of the region. The views, the architecture, the food…it was all perfect. We went out to a great restaurant called Sass and after danced the night away at Buddha Bar. The other three nights, we just ate dinner at various restaurants in the marina. During the days we laid out by the pool and enjoyed the views and fresh air. I can’t really complain. It was the final stop in our travels & the most relaxing (no lugging luggage & switching trains!).
I hope you enjoy the photos! After the images I will recommend some places if you choose to go. You can also e-mail me if you have any questions about any of my travels.
Have you been to Monte Carlo? If so, share your memories in comments!
